Art is vital to the life experience. It allows people to understand different cultures and perspectives, to experience and process emotions, inspire social change and it contributes to our economic vitality. Our Art Center works to excite local artists through multi-media classes and workshops, monthly exhibitions, interactions with resident artists and outreach programs.
The Virginia Beach Art Center provides a place to express creativity by learning to throw and finish clay, draw or sketch, paint and craft. This is all happens in an inviting family-like environment that encourages all to socialize and learn. In our space, both novice and experienced artists thrive.
