Beading the Landscape - Textile Art with Jama Watts

Saturday, February 1st, 1:00pm – 4:00pm (1 day workshop)

Age: 13+

Embroidery can be done with just fabric, needle, and thread, but what if you added beads? In this class, we will take embroidery up a notch by not just creating a landscape with thread, but also by adding a third dimension with seed beads. Don't worry if you've never threaded a needle, this class will teach you that, some basic embroidery stitches, and how to incorporate beads into a beautiful landscape.

All supplies are provided, but feel free to bring any beads or embroidery thread along to try out!
