Virginia Beach Art Center - Pottery Studio

Students of all levels are welcomed from beginner to advance to grow in this wonderful art form.

This class explores hand building from coil, pinch pot and slab in order to create very individualized pieces of pottery using your imagination. The use of a slab roller is a quick and efficient way in order to create complex forms in a timely fashion.

Decorating and glazing ideas will also be explored where students can try different techniques.

Class includes 40-hours of Open Studio time for students to work on their projects outside of class. Open Studio access ends 2 weeks after the class ends unless student is signed up for another session.

A 25 lb block of clay comes with the class and more is available for purchase. No outside clay is allowed.

Shelf must be cleared the last day of class unless student is signed up for another session.
