Virginia Beach Art Center - Pottery Studio

This class is for advance students who want to continue building skills with wheel throwing, hand building and sculpture techniques.

In this 8-week course that also includes unlimited Open Studio for students to work on their projects outside of class. Open Studio access ends 2 weeks after the class ends unless the student is signed up for the next session.

Shelf will need to be emptied on the last day of class unless student is signed up for the next session.

Supplies Students Should Bring:

• Basic Pottery Tool Kit
• Optional: Apron and Hand Towel
• Notebook/journal for notes, to track firing of your pieces, etc.

Supplies included:

• 25-pound block of brown or white clay
• Glazing and firing

No outside clay allowed.
