Needle Felting with Wool with Susan Owens
Thursday, May 16 and 23, 10:30am - 1:00pm
All skill levels no experience or tools necessary
Supplies included.
Felting is painting with wool (no paint involved). Wool can be layered, the colors can be mixed, embellishments added, and creativity abounds! You will learn about the tools, types of needles, and types of wool. In addition to the many beautiful colors of wool it is very soft and textural, meant to touch, manipulate and be visually admired. You will create a small 3D felted piece and a 2D landscape. This is Needle Felting, using sharp needles to interlock the fibers of the wool to each other. The direction your piece takes is only determined by your choices and preferences. Happy felting!
