Ages - 13 - 18 years old

Skill Level - Beginner

We are excited to announce our 6-week series of TEEN POTTERY (Hand Building) classes at the VB ART Center!!

Thanks to a generous grant funded by the Hampton Roads Community Foundation, this six-week series of TEEN Hand Building classes is offered at a 50% discount!

Class Description:

Our students will walk away from the class having been demonstrated the pinch and pull method, coil, slip and scoring using clay. In addition, students will learn the slab method in clay with additive and subtractive methods using clay to create a 3D object. Glazing technique will also be covered.

Supplies:

All supplies are included in the class fee. Participants are encouraged to bring a notebook and pencil/pen to each of the 6 classes.

Students are expected to attend all six sessions.
